Lyddair TrislanderLATEST OPPORTUNITIES

B200 Captains Needed for Global Operation.

Captains and a Chief Pilot are required for our growing operations offering unique opportunities and very interesting flying.

  1. LyddAir operate a fleet of piston engine aircraft including PA-31-350’s, a BE58 and a Trislander.
  2. LyddAir is adding the Super King Air B200 to its fleet for AOC operations with one aircraft undergoing UK certification at this time and another anticipated to be added in Summer 2008.
  3. Atlantic Bridge Aviation, the parent company to LyddAir, is managing a brand new B200, Proline 21 equipped and operating worldwide, particularly the Far East.

We are looking for Captains and a Chief Pilot.

  1. Pilots wishing to apply for the piston fleet should hold as a minimum a JAA CPL/IR, performance C and CRM and should have a total time of not less than 700 hours (mostly P1) at least 50 of which must be multi engine with a multi engine single pilot class rating. Holding an FAA licence as well would be an advantage. Promotion opportunities will exist.
  2. Pilots wishing to apply directly for the B200 operation should be qualified as above (and prepared to fly the PA-31) except the minimum experience should be not less than 1,500 hours, at least 250 of which must be multi engine which includes at least 50 hours multi engine turbine or turbo-prop. A JAA B200 type rating is an advantage. Holding an FAA licence as well is essential.
  3. The Chief Pilot should ideally hold training qualifications and have substantial experience.
  4. Salaries are negotiable depending on starting position and experience.

The B200 operation will be UK based and include European AOC work as well as an early integration onto the world wide operation. When operating worldwide pilots may expect to be away for around 10 days at a time, maybe more. This operation will require the ability to operate in challenging weather, environments and to think and plan for yourself as well as dealing with inevitable awkward situations in awkward countries.

If you are used to everything being done for you and regular routes and regular days then these opportunities will not suit you. If, however, you want to put some real interest into your flying life and have the necessary outgoing character and experience then please apply to Jonathan M Gordon FRAeS either by e-mail to jmg.gordon@gmail.com or by post to LyddAir Limited, Lydd Airport, Kent TN29 9QL, UK. Please enclose a full CV and let us know your salary expectations. All applications will be treated with strict confidence.
