Access to Airport Restricted Zones is required by all LyddAir staff. This requires a police background check to see that all staff members have a clear and good record.
All staff will be required to sign an employment contract which sets out conditions of employment including salary, holiday entitlement, sick benefits, grievance and disciplinary procedures. Once you have joined there will normally be a probation period.
The base is generally Lydd Airport, but employees who join as aircrew or within flight operations are obviously expected to travel as a routine part of the job.
Aviation is a 365 day-a-year business and is generally busy during leisure time. Employees will therefore be expected to work unsociable hours, weekends and public holidays. Employees will also be expected to take the majority of their annual leave entitlement during the Company’s quieter periods.
